Color:  White blend.  Red-brown buds open to reveal a button eye with inner petals reflexing into a ball.  Milky white petals have a crimson edge.

Fragrance:  Moderate fragrance

Thorns:  Prickles.

Foliage:  Foliage is dark green, downy and semi-glossy.

Approximate Height:  3.5’ x 3’

Description and Care:  It sprawls but can be kept compact by pruning.  Hardy and disease resistant.  Vigorous growth.

Comments:  Some class this with the Portlands.  It was named for the mythological Queen who was seduced by Zeus when he appeared in the form of a swan.

This bush was less than a year old at this point, and it has since doubled in size, so don't be fooled by this picture.
