Welcome to my website!

Hard though it may be to believe, I've now got several books out.  But I haven't forgotten about my garden, either, and will be working on new articles about roses and Old Garden Roses in the months ahead.  I'm a regular contributing blogger about all things "Gardening" on the first of every month at Romance in the Backseat, and I hope you'll check it out.

I'm also planning on putting together a collection of Civil War letters from my great-grandfather, for those interested in such things.

For those of you who are desperately searching for a gift, especially one for yourself, how about a cookbook?

It took several months, but I transcribed my grandmother's handwritten cookbook--filled with recipes from the Great Depression through the early 1960's. There are close to 200 recipes, including dozens of cakes, pies, and cookies.  It may be just the thing to give as a gift, or buy it for yourself to make something special when you're hosting a party. Or just need something to cheer yourself up.  It's called The Rowley Cookbook--just click on the title or the book cover if you need a gift for someone who has everything!
The Rowley Cookbook is also available from Amazon.com.

For those following my career as a writer, my pseudonym is Amy Corwin and I write classic Regency romances and mysteries:  http://www.amycorwin.com.

The Bricklayer's Helper is out and the cover is absolutely lovely. The Wild Rose Press will released it August 6, 2010.  I am so pleased!

On Nov 12, I will also join the ranks of the paranormal authors.  I have a paranormal to be released that day called: Vampire Protector.

The Necklace, my next historical romantic mysteryhas a cover and is tentatively due for release in November 2010, too!  Here is the gorgeous cover.

The Necklace

My Regency short story:  Outrageous Behavior is still available.

If you're looking for a short read at an inexpensive price, this may be just the ticket.  It's a short romance and has already received excellent reviews.  Long and Short reviews even nominated it for "story of the week" recently and Fallen Angel Reviews gave it 5 angels!  The heroine is in a bit of a pickle:  should she follow the dictates of proper behavior, or throw the etiquette book out the window if it gives her a chance for true love?

Amy Corwin Reader's Store has a few promotional items, as well as some fun stuff like "Darwinism at work" shirts.
