 Blooms:  Fat, round buds open to deep, rich purple blooms that reflex back to form a dome shape.  The edges of the blooms are rolled back and under, and the texture is almost velvety.

Fragrance:  Light fragrance

 Thorns:  Almost thornless.

 Foliage:  Foliage is abundant, smooth and dark green..

 Approximate Height:  4’ x 3’

 Description and Care:  Growth is not as vigorous as most Gallicas, and it performs best with good cultivation. 

 Comments:  This rose is a gorgeous deep purple color very much like grapes.
