Description and Care:  It does suffer from  blackspot, and should be provided with ample water or it will suffer greatly.

 

Comments:  Seems to do fairly well in the South and is generally vigorous.  

 

Awards:  In 2004, I exhibited this rose and  won "Best of Show--Dowager Queen" and "Judges' Challenge--Most Fragrant" awards at the New Bern Rose Show, May 8, 2004.  It is a beautiful, fragrant rose.
